how much does your staffy drink..

Buddy is now back eating out of a bowl ! but not kibble he will only eat that out of a kong so now I need to find a decent food to supplement the kibble - I know some say not to mix both types of food but he just will not eat enough kibble to keep him going ..

but my main question is he doesn't seem to drink very much at all if we go for a long walk or he has a pigs ear he will go and have a drink but he goes hours with no drink.. is that normal I'm not quite sure how you convince a dog to drink if doesn't want to -

should I be concerned...?

Bug is fed wet food so it'll be a little different, but she rarely drinks in the winter. In the summer it's slightly more.. My friends lab can go through a bowl of water a day but bug just isn't interested!

Koda eats kibble with tuna mostly, I'd say 2 bowls of water per day on average, obviously we have hot Summers so if 40c+ he mite go an extra bowl or big ice blocks too.

Katy is fed kibble but only really drinks after a good play session when she gets hot or after a lot of barking

Misty doesn't really drink either. If we go for a very long walk she will come and have a drink when we get home but in the winter she doesn't go to her water bowl a lot.

aah thanks guys makes me feel a little better - he isn't dehydrated or anything but I used to have a greyhound who would drink and drink and drink just wasn't sure if he was being "difficult" again ..

My Flo didn't used to drink much but has now decided to drink like a camel so has a couple of big slurps a day

Roxy, will drink 2 or 3 bowl (full) of water daily but it also depends on how much exercise she has.. loves us throwing the ball around inside (we days) and then she stops for drinks and back to the ball.. Goes to the loo often too.. But on a normal day will drink 2 bowls of water...

on the WET days - which there are many recently...

mia does drink her fair share half a large bowl a day

Lexi drinks out of boredome sometimes. If Billy is in "her" bed, she will wander around the room, drink, wander, drink, go to her bowl and lick it as if somethings there...anything to try and get him to move
