Introducing a new pup to diesel

Been after another staff for ages gemma got me one for crimbo got kc reg blue bitch called sky pick her up on Feb 4th she will be 12 weeks old what's the best way to introduce her to my male staffy diesel any help would be great

I personally would put Diesel on the lead, preferably a long one, making sure there is no tension on it, so that he can get to know her with a safety net. And avoid picking the puppy up either when bringing her to him or taking her away as that can often trigger a reaction.

Once you're happy he's ok with her, then let them to it while supervised, and brace yourself for your house to be turned upside down!

Fab news Carl, can't wait to read how Sky grows up with a big brother like Deisel.

Controlled meeting possibly away from home for the first time so as Deisel doesn't resent the intrusion. It might be an idea to leave some clothing with the pup so her scent is on it and then bring it home so Deisel can smell her before meeting her, that way it won't be such a shock.
