The vet is the only person who should do any testing.

Not strictly true. You get it done reliably from the Animal Health Trust. It tells you what you need to do on tgeir website. The staffordshire bull terrier should be dna tested for h2 lga & HC...

P. S
If both her parents have been tested & the results were clear, tgen she won't need testing herself because she will be hereditally clear.

if she is registered with the kennel club then she is farmore than 5 generations pure - she'll be pure right from the 1930s (or something lke that!).
have you checked her parnts' dna results? the breeders should have shown you th certificates, and the results should be lodged with the kc.

Re: health checks before breeding
Yesshe is kc registered. It's just the certificate is 5 generation. Sorry my bad. Her father is jay's blue bruiser and mother is lady kieress countess or something very similar with out looking. Jays is all on kc site and her mums isn't but I have seen the certificate of hers with them on but I have asked couple months ago for them to get hers loaded on and they were looking into why it's not on there. I did email them yesterday and asked for an update . Should I be concerned hers isn't on there

Re: health checks before breeding
Over here in France you can't breed a dog and call it a pedigree until it goes in front a a panel and is checked for any fault. Our pup has an excellent pedigree, but we couldn't breed with him and call him a pedigree. We don't want to and fully intend to have him castrated when he has matured. We have all his paperwork with his ancestors for 5 generations and all his DNA tests, eye count and hip count.
They are very strict here, but it does iron out any problems that occur with any breed.
Must stay there are loads of poor mixed breed dogs here.Staffie crosses are cat 2 dogs and have to be muzzled, but a pure bred is allowed.

that depends on why the results aren't on there. sometimes breeders just don't bother informing the KC. if that's the case, there's no problem, but you should ask the breeders for a copy of the paperwork so that you can show it to potential puppy buyers.

Re: health checks before breeding
if you breed blue to blue you will increase the chances of skin problems & loss of hair, which in some cases can be quite extreme.
