Toilet break!!
Does anyone else have problems getting to the lol on their own lol. Yesterday morning Bella couldn't go up the stairs. Since last night every time I go to the toilet she follows me up

Re: Toilet break!!
Just one word of caution, that sort of clingyness can lead to separation problems down the line. I'd make a point of sometimes closing doors, even just briefly, as you move round the house. I know you've left her successfully but sometimes problems surface unexpectely and it's better to pre-empt them.

Bug's a pretty confident little lady when it comes to us, the only place that she really follows us to is the kitchen (sometimes food magically appears on the floor!)
It is sweet, Staffies are generally referred to as "Velcro dogs" in our kennels but as Liz mentions, there's a fine line that can lead to separation problems, which can be very hard to rectify. Prevention is better than cure

Re: Toilet break!!
I haven't gone to the loo alone since January! I suppose it's only fair, I do watch Misty go so she probably thinks she has to watch me

Re: Toilet break!!
Flo used to follow us but doesn't seem to these days... I think she's finally wised up
The kitchen thing does happen a lot but then I do tend to drop things like ham and cheese far too often and lets be honest, who can refuse those big brown eyes looking up at you.
Agree with the fine line thing, in some ways it's sweet but also make sure it doesn't lead to an obsession.

Re: Toilet break!!
I sit on the loo and all I can hear is Ruby sniffing at the door and she sits patiently waiting until I'm done!

Re: Toilet break!!
Seems to be a common thing then. I've a safety gate on my stairs to keep my other dogs downstairs so I guess i'll start using it for bella
