Freezing wet food
Hi, Hunter is on a sensitive diet namely wainwrights dry food, fish and veg flavour, which serves him well. i have some trays of wet food in the same variety. Once opened they have to be consumed in a couple of days. I was wondering if it would be ok to freeze small portions of this, ie, in a ice cube tray and then defrost individually for Hunter to eat?
I was thinking of using this wet food in small portions to pack into something like a hollowed out antler (which he loves) as a treat. What do you think?
Thanks

It should say on the packaging if it's freezable or not? Failing that, I'd give the customer services number a quick call and ask them just to be sure. Can't be too careful with food.

If the meats a high content i don't see why you can't freeze but check with the manufacturer of the food just incase
