looked at loads pics def some sort bull breed in him, he wasnt that heavy so maybe Boston bullterrier or a crossbreed,

I've read about this many times , he was classed as a Pit bull , now this was 100 years ago they were a lot more popular back then in the states, and the breed has slightly change since then.
