Update with Marley

hi all haven't been on for a while so thought I'd tell you all the updates with Marley firstly Marley no longer needs the long line when out we practiced his recall everyday whilst around people and dogs and he got better everyday, since taking him up the field off lead he's much more excited about going out for his walk. So far we've had no bad experiences with other dogs towards Marley and vice versa. He's going through a tennis ball a day with his fly ball but as long as he's happy his nipping and biting has near enough stopped now had he no longer has the need to chew everything in sight yay!! Hopefully get some pics up of him today out on his walk

I started walking Maya off lead at the earliest opportunity Emma and it certainly paid off like yourself i only have her off lead on our local fields, and her recall has been pretty good from the outset.
She has also met many other dogs and people this way, and is very well socialized, i love giving her the freedom to run around exploring, and well done with Marley, it sounds like he is really coming on now

Marley sounds like he's doing great! Can't wait until Spike is that well behaved! I've let him off the lead more or less since he first went out and so he never runs too far and his recall hasn't been a problem...One day i dumped him in an empty and ran away!! He's always stuck fairly close to me ever since and if he sees something ie: Cyclists or joggers, he just sits down and looks at them now instead of trying to bolt!

Thanks everyone he's getting much more socialisation by going to the field, he had a play yesterday with a pack of about 5 dogs all well behaved and friendly its just nice to see him having fun glad maya is doing well terry haha took a while for him to start behaving si But it's worth it all in the end
