Full leather dogbed- hot or not?

After a long test period of my german leather collar i´m going to get a really fine dog bed.
I looked for a very solid one which will survive my old staffy. more ore less i found a bed looking like a couch.. see this

Do you think it´s a good idea to get this oder should i buy a real used leather seat?

I would think that would be hot in the summer. Also I hold off giving it to a pup until they outgrow the biting and destroying things phase

Its very posh but yea probs easy to chew at
