Hello I am Malcolm.

I’ve been asked to tell you all about myself but first I need to know how good you are at giving tummy rubs cos I just lurve having my tummy rubbed, it’s one of the bestest things ever!!

I am a little red boy with grey eyebrows which make me look very distinguished.  I’ve been at another rescue for quite a while but no one ever chooses me,  I don’t know why? So the Senior Staffy people have taken me in to see if they can help me find my forever home cos I’m a bit fed up with kennel life.

I walk beautifully on my lead, so my walkers tell me.  I can do ‘sit’, and  I’m learning to be patient and wait. My walkers laugh at me and say I’m a little cuddle monster, I just love my cuddles and tummy rubs.

I got taken to the vet place a few days ago.  I was very good in the crate in the car and I was very good in the waiting room, sitting quietly with my hooman person. I’m a bit confused about the rest of the day as I seemed to sleep a lot and when I woke up I’m sure there were a couple of bits of me missing, how can that happen? I was told that now I’ve got two missing bits it’ll help to get me a home, they tell me I have been neutered, how strange!

Then I got to spend the night and the next day with my hooman person, and I was so good, I remembered to ask when I needed the toilet, and I gave lots of cuddles, and slept quietly all night. It was lovely to be able to potter round the garden, I even tried to bury my treat bone!.They were very amused that I like to carry a toy around in the house.

I also had the chance to go a short walk with a lady doggy friend, she was lovely and after I looked at her for a moment I decided I liked her and wagged my tail to say so, then we walked nicely down the road together.  so I may be able to live with a lady friend if I like her, but we would have to meet a few times to be sure.

So waddya say, do you think you could give me a home, and tummy rubs and cuddles and treats and walks??  It’s not a lot to ask, is it?

If you could give me a home please get in touch with the Senior Staffy Club - it tells you how do that at the bottom of this page and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Love Malcolm xx

Malcolm is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.  He is in kennels in the Stafford area but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit.   However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him where he is now. There is an adoption donation of £90 for Malcolm
and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffys in our care.

If you think you could offer Malcolm a new home please contact Nikki on 07870 392
