Cody first holiday :0 x

Heya all me and cody have just come back off holiday ( Camping) and he loved it he slept in his crate all night didnt make a sound he played on the beach and he even got a rossett in a dog show came 5th for best pedigree.
so proud of my little prince.

just have a few questions if anyone can help we brought cody a ball thrower and he is obessed on chewing it wont chase the ball just jumps up to get the ball thrower hes even started chasing other people when i take him out ,how can i stop him from doing it and concerate on the ball x
and secondly how do i get him to stop chewing leads in the past 3 weeks we have gone through 4 leads and he chews straight through them.

and lastly does anyone else puppy love bins cody gets fed 2 times a day he eats it all but he always tries to eat out the bin even licks the bin how do i stop him as getting annoying lol xx

The ball chucker looks just like a stick to Cody which is far more interesting than the ball .. My Flo is the same so we gave up with it, it got so silly that she actually kept insisting on carrying the darn thing !!

Leaver the chucker at home and just take balls but if Cody is anything like Flo they won't last long.

You might find that you'll need a chain lead for a while just until this habit stops.

Simpl e answer to the last question.... Make bins with food waste inaccessible, Staffies will always take advantage of a free meal if they can

Yeah i gave up on the stick now lol and as for the chain lead we had one he ate the handle lol and for the bins all have lids and mostly just have crisp packets that the kids have ate and he just tips them over lol xx

hi kia just make the ball seem more interesting use a silly voice if you have to :lol:as for the bin hun be strict and use the no command if possible get the kids and everybody in the hosuehold to do the same he will soon realise its not acceptable

he finally just learnt fetch so ive been acting like a looney everytime we go out so he brings it back he gets treats as for the bin ill defo try that thank you hun xx
