Hello from me and Cody :)

Hi there!

Yesterday me and the OH picked up or gorgeous little Staff whom we have named Cody! He is completely white with a black nose and a black 'beauty spot' on his cheek.

We had decided ages ago that we were going to get a dog to go with our house cat and rabbit and originally I set upon a Chihuahua (and i'm sure everyone on here will agree with my OH when he kept saying they weren't proper dogs, they are rats on leads ) Anyway, as time went on whilst I was looking at Chi pups my OH kept banging on about Staffs...I have to admit it, I was rather dubious about the breed but I humoured him and we went to see a breeder.

We arrived and were greeted by 4 bouncing pups, 3 boys and 2 girls. The girl had already been reserved so she handed me the first boy pup who was tan and white. He was mental! It was very difficult to keep hold of him without wriggling out of your arms. Then she past us what would soon be out baby boy. He was amazing! He was really calm and just wanted to lick you and to scratch his belly. Hence to say I fell in love shortly after he came home with us.

Although he has only been home 1 night he has certainly settled in well and wasn't phased at all by visitors we had. All he wanted to do was climb on their laps for a scratch! He was very noisy last night though, we are trying to crate train him but it isn't working as well as we would have hoped (accidents do happen) but he is still only a baby so hopefully things will improve with time

I haven't got any pictures yet as he is too quick for my camera! When I feed him i'll try and get a few good ones

Hello and welcome from me and Archie. The 1st boy pup sounds like my Archie. He was the only one left out of a the litter. And was a bit of a live wire the owner told he was a bit of a bully.
But he shaping up nicely now.
He been in his crate from day one and for the first few nights he whined a little . Now he great in there i fact i came down this morning 4:30am for a drink and went back to bed and there was not a murmur.
The only bad habit he got his the owners use to let him chew a shoe. So he thinks the shoe rack a sweet shop. So he had a few bollockings.One time i was chasing him around the coffee table with me growling no and him growling back

It amazes me how the bowl goes from one side of the room to the other in 10 seconds flat

He was asleep on my knee yesterday and it was the perfect picture opportunity...unfortunately I was sat on the floor in the middle of the kitchen and he was lying on both my hands and I daren't move!

The things we go through just to keep them asleep!!
