Muzzle
Hi There,
I have two wonderful staffords, a female of 4 years old named Bowy and a puppy of 6 months named Jagger.
we are gong to holiday to Spain and apparently Spain, where we go on vacation, has pretty strict regulation like..staffordshire bull terrier always have to wear a muzzle ( Il live in the netherlands and here it is not the case)
Anyway..I absolutely not going to put a muzzle on a 6 months old stafford...come on!!
I also do not want to put a muzzle on my other dog, but in if I have to buy one, just in case, and see what happens...which one is the most comfortable and less disturbing muzzle for a stafford?
I have no idea since I never had to worry about it and I am leaving next week.
thanks for any advise you could give me

Re: Muzzle
Sorry I have never used a muzzle so can't offer any practical advice on that but I know others have and hopefully they'll be able to offer advice before you go on your holiday.
If you get a min in the meantime do pop over to the link below and say Hi to everyone:-

Re: Muzzle
You have to abide by their laws or you could lose your puppy, he must be muzzled, most comfortable and most recommended ones are the cage muzzles.

train them to use it correctly in my opinion ALL dogs should be muzzle trained like they should be crate trained, you never know what could happen and if they are comfortable in said muzzle during that problem place or accident then thats best for them.

Re: Muzzle
try a cage muzzle and if your dog havent used them introduce them to it slowly i know it sounds extreme but your best to follow the rules in different countries . get a muzzle a.s.a.p to get the dogs used to them

Re: Muzzle
Hello! I use the baskerville ultra for my girl - she can still pant and drink/take treats with it on and seems comfortable.

This is also a training guide to get your dog's used to wearing the muzzle - it doesn't have to be a negative thing.

It's rubbish that they have to wear them there, but as long as they're used to them before they go i'm sure it'll make no difference to them!
