It goes like this

Ted is in the habit of going back to bed on days we are working from home.

He knows if we are going to work because I set the alarm.

So – I get up and just throw back the duvet

Sometimes he gets up as well and goes out in the garden then returns to bed and sometimes he just stays where he was.

Either way it’s obvious the staffy has made the bed.

The duvet is mounded up in the middle of the bed and my pillow is moved to be next to it. Between the pillow and the duvet you will find a snoozing staffy.

It’s never his pillow, always mine

Oh not under any illusion over who's bed it is and it's been like that from the day Tedster came home with me.

In a double bed I get a six inch strip on one side to sleep in and Tedster gets the rest.

But it's so nice when you wake up at 4am with a Staffy curled up against you snoring down your ear.

And why is it they just want to sprawl out horizontally rather than vertically down the bed. Nita's only small but she doesnt half take over the bed. God forbid I ever get a gf in it.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much this breed can spread out when totally relaxed, it's like Barry White in a fur coat some times, and the looks you get if you disturb them while attempting to move in you oh so generous last two feet of bedding etc. Blushing
