Paddling pools..
Anybody got one for their pooch? If so which one do you have? Inflatable or plastic? Worth buying? Bug is such a water baby, think it may be fun for when it's too hot for big walks!

We've got a plastic budget kids pool from Argos, we throw Rio's toys in there for him to retrieve on really hot days

I think I need to nip down to the Factory Shop...
Do non-rigid paddling pools not get ripped by claws though?

This is Katy's pool, she's not that impressed with it. I had to put her in it last year
£10 from Tesco
I haven't got it out for her yet this year but will try again

So none of these burst the second a dog's claw comes into contact with it?

I have a very hard plastic square one (& if Photobucket worked tonight I could show you !!), Koda LOVES it espesh when we hit the 40c+ mark great way to cool off quickly. I have to hide it in the garage though as this is his 2nd one, he ate the 1st when we were at work one day !!!

Woah! Thanks for all of the replies guys Loads of options! They all look awesome. Was worried about an inflatable one due to claws/boisterousness also!

Re: Paddling pools..
Ocado, but you can get them on Amazon too:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ocean-Play-Snapset-Pool-56452/dp/B00005O6TW/ref=sr_1_22?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1435866768&sr=1-22&keywords=intex+pool
£12 inc delivery, and they do smaller ones too. I'm not sure how claw proof it is so have it on a piece of tarp, with tarp inside (which of course floats!). But for that price I'm not overly worried if it doesn't last past the summer.

Re: Paddling pools..
I got Theia the Chad valley pools from Argos. We got the soft one last year, but Theia likes to dig in the water, so though the hard plastic one would last longer!!

6 foot, Rach. No, not hugly sturdy but it looked like the choice was either size or sturdiness rather than both, unless you go down the route of a rigid pond which is then quite expensive for that size. The sides of this one bend so I think they're ok, but the bottom liner isn't hugely thick which is why it's on an old tarp to protect from underneath and with tarp inside.
The alternative is what we've got at Danaher...
