Questions regarding feeding....
Evening everyone....
This time i am here with a few questions so i'll get straight to the point....
Question number one...
We are eating dry food only atm twice a day.....Drunna is 4 months old almost and a little over 5.5kg....I'm giving her the Acana puppy & junior with chickens which she seems to like a lot....And here comes the problem....The last few days i am getting the feeling that she is not eating enough....I followed what the food package said (5kg puppy that will get around 20kg as an adult dog ) and was giving her almost 160gr of dry food cut in 2 meals....
Drunna seems hungry though...So i called my vet and she said i should feed her 1/20th of her weight which is 250-280gr....And then i discovered that the food package had a "hidden" sticker on it that said that a 5kg puppy at the age of 4-6 months old should get 300gr of dry food.....I am now confused more than ever....today i fed her twice 110gr pre meal....she still seems to want more food
Question number two....
This is simple enough as i said i am buing Acana puppy & junior....My question is untill when should i give her puppy food and what you guys think about Acana???
Is there maybe another dry food you could recomend??? I would like to say something chipper also but quality comes first....
Thx for your time in advance guys

Re: Questions regarding feeding....
Does she look very thin ? If not and she's gaining weight then I wouldn't worry too much. My Flo would eat all day if given the chance.

No no she looks great to be honest not thin hot fat either...
This is mostly the reason why i am trying to figure out the proper dosage of food...Since she is a puppy i know she must eat good but not get fat....That's why i am a bit worried

Re: Questions regarding feeding....
Maybe give her little more and if she leaves some subtract that from amount you had give her, they usually stop eating when full. These are just rough guides they give you and yes they are confusing.
Sorry i wouldn't know what is available in your lovely country but try this website might help you.
