Maxi's coming tommorow

Hello I'm getting Maxi at about 3 tommorow so I'll be sleeping tonight I was just wondering if there was any last min info I needed I have her stuff shes booked in a vets for 3 days from now just any tips on the first night erm toilet training her ect Can't wait

You're never really totally prepared, but you're probably as prepared as you're gonna be!

Toilet training: just take her into the garden every hour & praise her LOADS if she pees or poos out there. If she has an accident inside, just clear it up & don't say anything.

Be prepared for some sleepless nights until she's settled - boy, can they cry loudly when they want!

I wouldn't, if I were you. She'll expect it all the time & it'll make your job harder in the long term.

If you leave her from day one (with maybe a night light, something with her mum's scent & your scent on it, and a radio playing softly) she'll settle much quicker.

At some point you'll have to go to bed & she'll miss you all the more!

Hehe just had chance to get on pc :3 shes amazing sleeping alot any issues? and shaking when shes asleep? and she was sick any issues hehe but yes shes adorable cameras broke so its just going to be webcam quality but gonna take some when shes up but yeah she was trying to nip

Sleeping a lot is fine, she is going to be just as nervous and very home sick, she'll settle. I remember when I first got my first pup and all she was sleep, I wanted to prod her to wake her up

You've had how long to prepare and we only asked for you to remember your camera

It's broken it's not my fault About the sick though and she shaking when shes asleep but I have a few photos from my webcam that arnt as bad as I thought so ill uplaod em in a big batch so I dog clutter you all up

She could be shaking from being nervous or cold since she doesn't have body heat from other dogs. any longer. I wouln't worry unless she refuses to eat. She should be registred at a vet soon since she will have to be on an immunization schedule.
