Play it by ear, your not working so you have lots of time, take them for a good walk and play and see how it goes. Good luck

Re: have one staffy having a 6 month old staff tommorow
When I've introduced new dogs I've kept them to one part of the house so the other can go off to have some alone time.
I always try to walk them home together and let them off in the garden. Let them go inside in their own time. With Lizzy and her new dogs I found that she was desperate to play when on a walk or in the garden, but would snarl alot indoors. This passed pretty quickly, so don't be too alarmed.
As janey said, just play it by ear. Make sure they've both got their space when they need it, and you'll be fine.

You should try to walk them together right before introducing the new pup to the home. Don't pay more attention to the pup than your current dog and give your current dog a place he can get some peace and quiet when he wants it.

Give the little one plenty of time and space to settle in to the new surroundings. Since you are home there with them both they should be OK to play together as you can step in if need be. Good luck with it, I'm sure you wont need any luck though. I'm sooooo jealous.

I think they will play lots when they get together. Just take time to let them get to know each other and they should be fine

I just love the reasons dogs get rehomed
Just see how it goes, as a puppy they may need contained in the kitchen if you go out, just in case.
