new Kong toy

just got one of these ..
( then another one for indoors .. 'cause she likes it sooooo much :-)

Kong Jumbler Ball ..
be a ball with 'handles' and a tennis ball inside ..
has a 'squeakie' device .. but after 3 days both have sqeaks have past on

i's tough .. squeaks aside .. so far no teeth marks despite many attempts at total destruction ..
easy to throw /toss .. or kick if yer that way inclined ..
convenient for carrying ..

'Lady' likes it so much .. it's the only outdoor toy she will actually carry about
( i usually have to pick them up 'n carry them back to the car )

she has a tough frizbee .. kong throw stick .. couple of hard rubber balls .. for outdoors ..
they're fine .. but the Jumbler is 'ace!!' she can't get enough of playing with it :-)

Suki has something similar minus the tennis ball.

beware of playing tug-o-war with it ..
the handles don't flex .. so ..
when staffy raggs 'n twists .. human finger strain can result ..
i had a big 'ouch' to one finger when doing that ..

as is i've hurt my right wrist ..
playing 'fetch' or 'tug-o-war' aint helping the healing process at all
( but saying 'no' to her when she wants to play is just as hard :-)

oh .. i took the dead 'squeakie' device out ..
so she don't accidently prise it out 'n swallow it ..
now there's a nice hole where she's figured one big tooth will fit in nicely .. :-)
