So jaws met the vet for the first time...
And was an absolute darling!! It would seem she doesn't want vet on the menu, just me and the kids the vet couldn't understand why I have nicknamed her jaws. She let him look in her ears and mouth, cut her nails and even give her the injection and just sat there like a little angel the whole time.

To be honest, I'm not surprised. Mouthing is a play thing and with all that going on she probably wasn't in the mood to play!
It's great that she was good, though. Take her back from time to time, to weigh her or just for nothing and let her get to know that going to the vet is fine and you'll set her up well.

Our vets are fab and like to see them every 6 months if we are happy for them to be checked then instead of annually. She's back in 2 weeks for the second jab and microchip. plus they've said that I should take her back when her flea and worm treatments are due so they can weigh for dosage. So she won't be a stranger there

My dog loves the vets. We pass it on the way to the park at least once a day and he always stops for a sniff. Anytime he goes in I have my work cut out for me to get him out without him conning at least 3 of the staff into getting a kiss off him.

Great news
My Flo will walk in all fine until the door to the consulting room opens, she really doesn't like it in there
