Monty & Pippy - 13 years young, Kingswinford area

Hello, this is Monty and Pippy and they are brother and sister.  They have lived together since they theyre puppies.  Monty & Pippy are very sad as their Mum who has been their Mum all their lives is now too poorly to look after them and they need to find a new family.

Monty & Pippy are doing their best to keep their 'chins' up though and as long as they can stay together they think they should be alright. They are in a temporary foster home at the moment but need a home where they can stay together always.

Monty & Pippy are very good dogs (even though they say it themselves!).  They are good in the house, can be left for reasonable amounts of time and although they love their treats they will take them from you gently.

As Monty & Pippy are little more mature now they only need short walks.  Monty can walk a little further than Pippy, but poor Pippy's legs go a bit wobbly if she goes too far, so just a few minutes is fine.

Whilst they are on the subject of being a little older they do both have arthritis in their legs but the vet gives them some tablets to take for that.  Pippy does have to take a tablet to help her liver work a bit better but their old Mum's family will continue to pay their insurance - this helps to pay for the tablets, and their visits to see the vet.

Monty & Pippy hope that even though they are not as young and fit as they once were, that you will still be able to love them.  Just like younger dogs they love being fussed, they like to play but only in very short bursts now. Pippy likes to play with a ball, and Monty likes to carry a toy around, although sometimes he might get carried away and walk about with our slipper or shoe - he wont chew it though, he just puts it in his bed to keep you near to him.  Monty & Pippy really adore curling up next to you for a cuddle!

They just want a warm bed and some love - please can you be their new family?

Monty and Pippy are on our Matchmaker Scheme which means they are still in the care of the owners family and are not directly in Senior Staffy Club care, but we are working with the family to ensure Monty and Pippy find a lovely forever home.Therefore the adoption donation is a donation of your choice. Any money donated will be used to help the other Senior Staffies in our care who have no one else to help them.  

Monty and Pippy are neutered/spayed and vaccinated.  They are currently in the Kingswinford, West Midlands area but can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet Monty and Pippy where they are now.
