Peoples reaction to staffies

Just came back from a walk with Harley down the cycle track there was two women walking towarda us so I call Harley back on his extendable lead and try and distract him because he wants to talk to everyone and everthing. The women screamed and I said hes fine just really excitable and she replied to they are dangerous dogs and she got attacked by one. Baring in mind harley was no where near her and just pulled to say hello. Makes my blood boil

Sterotypes are always sad

A thick skin is often required Beth. I do like to trot out a witty line when people say stupid things like this. We know how affectionate and loyal our Staffs are

Stupid women Beth. Just ignore them, easy said than done I know.

'Some' people just don't have the 'Common Sense' to recognise friendly dogs when they see them. Don't let it get to you, they sound irrational.

Just because she was attacked by one doesn't make them all devil dogs! Ugh...some people!

They're frightened by their own minds not what's going on in front of them, that's the proof it's a phobia.
