Muzzles??
Anyone know of a muzzle that my dog Chester would not be able to get off? I know not everyone agrees with them but it would only be put on him when we out for a walk and I let him off, he is really un- dog friendly and I only ever let him off for a few minutes when I can see for miles around and he loves to run but I am very alert that a dog could appear and don't want any incidents! I've tried some muzzles on him but he seems to be able to get his front paws hooked on and pulls it off!

Re: Muzzles??
Have you tried the Baskerville Ultra? There's a strap that goes from the top of the muzzle, between the eyes and over the head, then onto the collar. They fit a staffie head nicely as well, and I found with Bobbert that he wanted to get that one off less than the standard Baskerville which was too narrow.
I'd also work on training if you can, although I know from experience that it's not easy with a dog who already dislikes it.

Re: Muzzles??
I will have a look at Baskerville ultra thanks, I've spent the last 3 years training Chester he just doesn't like other dogs! I took him to training classes from a very early age to socialise him didn't make any difference to his dislike of other dogs! Only dog he gets on with is willow my staffy, Chester is an American bulldog x staffy so he's quite big, he wears a canny collar when we out and used to wear a dogmatic so he is used to something on his face but I will keep training him who know one day it might click!!!!

Re: Muzzles??
Cheers have watched video it does say that most dogs needing a muzzle r on a lead which is the opposite to what I want it for something I need to think on about when I win the lottery I'm going to buy a big field for Chester to run free!!
