Teenage phase? Empty Teenage phase?

Post by VickyS Wed Feb 18 2015, 08:18

So after hours of googling I have come to the conclusion that Lexi is infact going through a teenage phase. Is this possible at 9 months? The internet says so but I thought I'd ask if any1 else has experienced it x

Seems a bit young but certainly possible. Suki seemed to have a phase at 9,12,15, and 18 months. Just go back to basics and have patience Big Grin

The key is to reinforce your training every time Lexi pushes limits. They soon realise they won't get thier way Smile

Yeah I have been. I train her all day every day tbh. My family dog when I was at home was untrained and I was/am determined she won't be like that lol. X

It doesn't last too long provided you are consistant with enforcing the rules.

Sounds about right - dogs are only "puppies" for a very short amount of time, much shorter than most believe. Considering their socialisation period is only about 14 weeks long - everything is at super speed compared to us lol!
