Spaying advice please.
First topic message reminder :
Theia goes for her op on Friday. We've read into the do's and don'ts of post op care, but there's nothing like this forum for experience.
So, all you lucky people who have already past this horrible month, all the tips and tricks you picked up will be taken on board.
Thanks, Pete.

Re: Spaying advice please.
It is a worry Dave. But with the blood test and them being extra careful with her, I'm sure she'll be fine.

Re: Spaying advice please.
She's home!! She is sleepy and shaky, but was still wagging her tail like mad when I got in from work!!
Her wound is nice and neat too!!
Looks like a cosy evening on the sofa for Theia. And me!

Re: Spaying advice please.
I am pleased to hear that Mia is recovering well!
I slept downstairs with Theia. She woke to pee around 2am and a drink at 5am, but otherwise, she is like nothing happened!! She is trying to stretch out, has a good appetite and is now chomping on her stag bar. I had a proper look at her wound, and the vet has burried the stitches, so there's none for her to get at!! She hasn't even looked at it!!
Thanks for all of your kind messages, and she got all her hugs last night!!

Re: Spaying advice please.
A quick update. From Saturday morning she's been as good as new! Great movement (and movements) and a normal appetite. She's never even looked at her wound so she hasn't been coned off! The only hard part is coping with the lack of exercise but the tips we got from you guys helped a lot. So a big thanks to you all, and for the best wishes.
We're wondering how Harriet and Mia are getting on too.
Pete
