Good moring all :)

Hello as I do not have my pup I have decided to call her Max (short for Maxine) instead of Rio I honestly cant wait to get her on tuesday :)I am getting her stuff today any suggestions on what to get her? i.e I wasn't sure about crates as my Nana thinks its cruel ect :/ but I have heard so many success stories on here I love this site I fort and for to get a Staffy I love them SO much and her litter mates we ALL beautiful I was also wondering as shes 6 weeks when and what should I start training her how? and when should I first take her too the vets I'm sorry about all the questions I just want her to have a great start x

hi crates are a fab idea, billy had one, it keeps them safe at night so they cannot harm themselves, it also gives them a little den where they can go and escape and have some quiet time, see link below from the website

she is very young at 6 weeks to be away from her mother, so it maybe a good idea to take her to the vets when you get her for a check up just to make sure eveything is ok

I was getting frustrated waiting for replies I thought I had been outcasted from the group :') And thanks I will look into it The Mum has had 10 pups and is in pain due to them all succling when ever she goes neer them so she doesnt like having them around anymore thats why shes coming so young and okk thanks I will I'll be up all night on her first night home I can't wait :') 6 more days to go It's like Christmas

5 days and counting!! Its way more exciting than Christmas Its such a long time since I had a pup I can't remember!! I think I just went to P@H and bought half the store Maybe you could think about some puppy milk, I know its been suggested before for pups that are young. Most importantly don't forget your camera, unwritten rule, pics are a must

as iv said in another post i got my boy at 6 weeks for the same reasons as yourself so it will be fine
1 you can get her booked at the vets now so you can take her as soon as she arrives(it also gives you something to do as your waiting)
2 crates are great i would not be without mine they love it
3 at six weeks she shouldnt need the puppy milk but you can still give a little if you wish
4 make sure your home is staffy proof ha ha thats a joke we all know that is inposible
5 make sure you have loads ov stuff for her to chew she will settle so much quicker
6 get your sleep now as when she comes she may cry like a baby (anjd i mean just like a baby) for the first couple ov night

I know I was torn between Max and Rio but as soon as my Nan did a mocking Rioo call I decided on Max And I shall ask all the questions I need thank you very much I Honestly cant wait I had NO sleep last night as i was too busy doing research And I love that shop I'm going there later And puppy milk is added to the list My camera will be glued to me Cant we make it a writen rule? Ok thanks I have semi decided to go to vets for pets? Any bad things about them? Im going t ogo on the second day I get her I will be crate training her HaHa and yeahh I'm getting like 10 toys and i will Thank you

I haven't heard any views on Vets for Pets, we don't have one round here, but I think there are others on here that use them! Much prefer Max to Rio, I won't think of a footballer every time I see your posts

How exciting! I bet you can't get any sleep I wouldn't be able too. The photo in your avatar looks so cute is that her? Looks like you've had some good advice already. Crates are invaluable, especially when they are pups! Saves your house from getting trashed when you go out too. All I can think of now in reference to her name is;

'I know this little girl her name is Maxine, her beauty is like a bunch of rose' - So thats not so bad

Vets 4pets is great, both my two are in with them and I don't have any complaints with em'.

Crates are a great tool and will give her a place to feel safe like she was in her din. This is important espically since she is so young. Please keep in mind that she will whine alot the first few nights. If you can get a blanket or something else that has the scent of her littermates to put in her crate the first few nights. This will ease the seperation aniexity. The first week may be frustrating but you will have years of good times as a reward.

I got tht 4 skye, if you go on the site it tells u howmuch u can save haviing it, I save almost 400pnd!! .. Vinnie will have it in oct when he's booster is due .
They also have there own insurance which is great! As they take the money via the insurance ria u pay them then get it back!

Yes it is such an exciting time for you.. but you will soon be bringing the precious little bundle home... Be prepared for some sleepless nights to start with.. A radio left on at night can sometimes help, and maybe a cuddly soft toy for her to snuggle into as she will be leaving her 9 siblings that she would have been sleeping with every night.... Good luck !!
