Dirty Girl

This afternoon I took Flo over to get small park thinking that it wouldn't be quiet as muddy. We were so wrong. She was down by the stream (now a river) chasing the squirrels getting thoroughly plastered in mud and that was before we got to the mud path !

On our return I sent her straight up for a shower and bless her she was good as gold. Think we had brought back half the park with us, anyhow, towel drying her wasn't really cutting it so I had a brain wave, let's try a hair dryer

Well this was one big game. She was Bowing, running round the room, grizzling at me, the full works. She made so much noise that my youngest even left his computer to see what was going on Eventually she stood still and enjoyed every minute of being pampered

Being Deaf, it wasn't the sound of the hair dryer that bothered her so I have no idea why we had so much fun trying to persuade her it was all ok

I wouldn't say Flo enjoys it, her tail always goes down and then we get the sad eye treatment but bless her she will let us wash her.

I'm sure she will need another bath and blow dry fairly soon with the state of her park being like it is so will be sure to have the phone at the ready

Bobbs loves her hot bath she knows the script now muddy day in park=hot bath. The mad part comes after I dry her she's running 
manicly pasting herself on the sofa over and over again like she wanna gain her smell back or something?
Ill try the hair dryer next time but it might be too noisy to the non deaf dog.
