travel sick
Any advice on travel sickness, our Millie travels in a crate but she is drooling and sick on even the shortest journeys. She is fine on the metro just the car. She doesn't bark or complain and happy to go in the cage. Any advice anyone can give me to make her trips out better for her.

Re: travel sick
Bo was always sick in his crate in the car and also the back seat. Letting him sit in the front seat is much better although he's still uncomfortable, so I give him 3 or 4 Traveleze half an hour before he travels. His last two trips were 90 minutes (both with a brief walk half way) and he was fine, although the Traveleze makes him a bit dozy.
And remember if you put your dog in the front seat use a doggy seat belt or harness and turn OFF the passenger airbag (an airbag will kill a dog if the dog's in the way when it inflates).

Re: travel sick
Bane now gets car sick, it seems to be worse if he has eaten. If we have to take him in the car, we wait until after the journey to then feed him.
He also travels better when he is tired, so maybe a nice long walk or play session before the car could settle her?
Do you put blankets over her crate when she travels? This might help stop her looking around and maybe relax her more.
