poor sasha

been at the vets first thing this morning,lucky they do a saturday morning surgery even just after xmas,i half expected a emergency call out fee but they were open,sash just has'nt been right over christmas,sad face not wanting to go up the stairs to bed,could'nt get comfortable and she starting limping and last night let a yelp and just sat there shaking,i thought her arthritis has been getting a bit worst but not to make her yelp,they took her blood and we had to wait half an hour for the results,thank god all her kidneys are working as they should and she is on metacam for the rest of her life,we do need to get a bit of weight off her she is 18 kg but then i guess it has been christmas Laughing

,i was so pleased with her at the vets she even made a little friend in a terrier that had a poorly paw Smile

Aww Stella sorry to hear Sash has'nt been too well lately especially over Xmas. Pleased she is being treated for her condition which I'm sure will help her. Extra loves and cuddles to her from me Love Struck

aww thanks Sheila,its horrible to see her like this,so hoping the metacam will help her,we are still keeping her on glucosamine and green lipped muscle supplements as well.hope you had a good christmas xx

had a bit of a up and down night with her,she kept sitting up turning round and laying down again but been a better day,even thou she yelped a couple of times,the vet told us she still needs to get out for her walks rather then rest so we can try and get a bit of weight off her,hoping the Metacam will kick in,any one know how long it takes to start to work??

I think the meds started to kick in today Inez,on her walk this afternoon she was a lot more energetic,spied a crow and thought she could get it Laughing

yes she seems a lot better thank you both,i've caught her going up the stairs again today which i dont want her doing really(son left the door open Rolling Eyes
