No charges being brought against the kids that set fire to manchester dogs home. Announced by bbc this morning. I'm disgusted they have literally got away with murder! Good old English law eh. How will kids learn what's wrong and right if there's no consequence for their actions. They should have been charged and punished.

I would love to know on what justification they decided to drop the charges. I cannot see any reason not to prosecute

I'm willing to bet it was because they were dogs and not humans, makes me sick to my stomach that those two boys will still be allowed to walk around freely and even be able to get a dog for themselves if they wanted to after killing so many

Even if you take out the innocent lives taken, surely there is still the arson case to answer.

Sweary word sweary word good punishment would have been a young offenders institution or a childrens home.

They should have been charged and punished all this softly softly approach is cow poo

As well as the lives of all the dogs and the dogs that suffered there could also have potentially been people in the building at the time of fire tending to the animals. This one will baffle me to the end of my days

the fire be described ( in that news article ) as 'suspected arson'
so i'd guess not enough evidence to say it were definitely arson
and to charge people for it ..

then the people responsible are likely to re-offend .. i would think ..
