1st Obedience Lesson
Nita and I got booked in to our first Obedience lesson and went last night. We were up against a yappy chihuahua/ yorkie mix that snapped and snarled, an Alsation pup who was fantastic, 1 boxer pup and one rather large pooch that I can only describe as a white GSD with a full body bouffant who wasn't too friendly.
I was a little nervous to start with as it was the 1st time Nita had been around so many dogs but I have to say I am so proud of her for being so well behaved. She got on well with the two puppies, the yappy one went for her and she didn't bat an eyelid but she had a good growl and snarl at the large pooch who had a go at her.
Suffice to say, she did great in the training apart from not wanting to leave the doggy choc drops and considering its not been a week since I got her she was (no bias here lol) one of the well behaved pooches and listened to me. She also received good compliments from everyone (I am sure some were a bit uneasy about a Staffy being there).
Additionally, she went back to the vets this morning and her Otitis (ears) issue is improving, her paws are slowly getting there, so fingers crossed. Also got complimented by the vet on taking her for training.
Treats have been bought (Kong Toy and eats) and now fast asleep on the floor below me.
Oh and she is weighing in at 15.3kg

Re: 1st Obedience Lesson
Thanks folks, I will be honest, 2 months ago I would have borked at the idea of getting a Staffy. Preconceived ideas and all. She has done me proud :-)
