Anything for building immune system / general health
Hi Everyone!
I wondered what little extras and supplements you give your dogs besides their normal food? Pru was diagnosed with demodetic mange and a bacterial infection today and I want to give her the best chance at getting better. Any recommendations?

Thank you Silver! Maybe a silly question but, are they the same as the ones for humans or are they specifically for dogs?

I use these. They aren't expensive and Toots loves them!

Coconut oil! It's wonderful - you can get a jar from holland and barret for about £15, but it lasts ages, pricey but you get what you pay for. Put a teaspoon in her food a few times per week.

Thanks everyone!
Rachel, I started giving her coconut oil today after I rubbed some on a sore patch of skin she has, she loves it! definitely going to make it a regular thing.

Pro-biotics are a great was of boosting immune strength! My Minnie has had bad yeast over growth and just 1 month of probiotcs has calmed the redness of her rash greatly! also some hair growth on the chest!
Raw coconut oil is also great to eat and apply topicly, echinesia (small amount mixed with water mix into food) and using a food that has prebiotics inside to promote the probiotics.
a little video explaining -

Hope this helps!
