New staffy owner

Been reading the forums for quite a few weeks now and thought I would introduce me and my little man Bruce.

I picked him up last week with the misses and fell in love with him straight away. We both wanted a dog for ages but had to be selective as we have a slightly autistic 5 year old and needed a dog that's good with children and decided to get an 8 week old pup.

As I have never owned a dog before just wanted to ask if those puppy training classes are a good idea?

Puppy classes can be a good idea once the puppy is settled in with you in a few weeks time. Try asking around for some recommendations in your area, the park may be a good place to ask other owners.

Hi from me and the gang, my nephew is autistic and getting a dog was a great idea as they do help in many areas, my nephew likes the dog lying on him the weight and the pressure of the dog sitting on his knee he likes also beinf able to stroke the dog he finds soothing
