Hey how old is she and how often are you putting her outside at the moment? Signs to look for are sniffing, circling, sneaking off..

Body language as mentioned above is key. They really aren't too cute at asking up front and each Staff will indicate differently. I'm lucky that my girl knows to go to the back door when she needs to go.

If you associate going outside with the key words like wee's then you have a good chance that Rose will learn that this is what to do. She's still young so might need some time to work this out yet Smile

Baxter was a summer puppy, the back doors were open all the time and he learned to toilet outdoors pretty quickly. When we started closing the doors recently we had one or two accidents but he has started to sit at the door now and stare at us when he wants out, he's not very vocal but if he disappears we just check if he's at the door. I think they each learn their own way of telling you

Sorry I can't help other than to say look for the signs. Suki taught herself this particular trick

Rocky will also go to the back door to go out for a wee. As already said just watch for the signs as given above. Always give lots of praise when she does go outside for a wee/toilets.

I put newspaper at the door, took my pup out every half hour used the appropriate command stayed out with her till she done something. Lots of praise when she did and she was trained at 9 weeks old another typical trait is crying at the door restless possibly hyper.

We kept missing the signs too or when we spotted them it was too late! I ended up attaching a long jingly keyring to the back door key. Every time we took him out to go to the toilet we would stop at the door, and say "wee time" and jingle the keyring then let him out.

He now jumps at the key to jingle the keyring when he wants to go out Smile

I have these bells that are long enough for him to nudge if I'm not already in the kitchen when he wants to go out,
Got them in the pet section on amazon

I failed in teaching peppa to ask me to go out .I take her out enough so she just wait but if she badly needs to go she sometimes cry or bark but
I can clearly sea she's not comfortable so just look for the signs.
