Have never had to use any specific cleaning drops, if Rockys ears get a bit mucky I just use some damp cottonwool and gently give them a light rub around which removes the dirt.

Zeus doesn't let us get anywhere near his ears with drops (should have started him off at a young age), but I do clean his ears with cottonwool and warm water, when they look a bit sore, I'll also put a bit of coconut oil in and around them and sometimes, apple cider vinegar too, which clears it right up.

Ear Cleaning Empty Re: Ear Cleaning

I was thinking of an ear dropper, then I thought I would just dampen some cotton wool buds to just clean the inside of the flap of the ear and the edge of the external ear canal to remove a little wax. Franky's ear flap has become a little sore with running in-and-out of some shrubs, so I also wanted to keep them clean also.

Sue we usually use 50/50 water to cider and just dab some cotton wool in it squeeze it out and then wipe the insides of his ear flaps and then gently clean the inside as far as we can reach without poking too deep.

If he has some cuts I would dilute the ACV a little more as it hurts like hell on broken skin Smile
