Interesting afternoon

My Flo has two ruddy great Bloodhound cousins as some of you know, this afternoon they were all on neutral turf and just hanging out, now, the younger Bloodhound (not the sharpest in the pack) decides he's going to try the dominance thing with the older girlie Bloodhound and puts his huge paws on her back. Flo went defensive and told him off with a couple of sharp barks.

The odd thing here is that the older Bloodhound, though younger than Flo is the matriarch when they are all together and the younger male Bloodhound always has an extra interest in Flo if you know what I mean but she warns him off in the first 5 mins and all is fine after that.

It was really strange to see my Flo come to the defence of the older Girl Bloodhound.

When they left for the day, Flo missed them leaving and wandered around for a good 10 mins looking for them and whining bless her

Haha I love watching my pup with other dogs, makes me want another already

yes very strange,you never know how they will react some times and yet other times so set in their ways,glad Flo had a great afternoon

If only we were as good at picking up their signals as they are!
