TARKA approx 10month old Staffie-X

Tarka is a Staffie-X, approx 11 months old & was rescued from a pound, where he was on death-row. He was then put into emergency boarding for a short while, and eventually signed over to ARC for rehoming – so he has already been moved around several times in his short life. We were led to believe that he was fearful of men & could be fear aggressive, but since he has been with us he has shown no sign of any aggression or fear. He leapt out of the car on arrival at our kennels & rushed up to A MAN & promptly attempted to jump into his arms for a cuddle!
Tarka completely ignored the other dogs in the kennels when he was walked past them all, and doesn’t seem that interested in the cats, chickens or geese either. He is a typical young puppy with lots of energy & a VERY waggy tail & we feel he would make a wonderful family pet for someone willing to work a lot more on his training, give him lots of things to occupy him & plenty of exercise to stimulate him. Tarka’s only downfall, if it is one, is that he will attempt to drown you in kisses while you are trying to rub his tummy!
