Supracaudal gland hyperplasia. Empty Supracaudal gland hyperplasia.

Hi there  wave

My male Staffie acquired supracaudal gland hyperplasia on the base of his tail at 12 months of age (he is now 15 months)  from the dry hairless patch on his tail and onwards towards the end of his tail the hair is very thin, have done quite allot of research on the net, but there unfortunately doesn´t seem to be much help on hand, or much that can be done about it... was wondering if others here that have the same problem have had had any luck through an operation in removing the gland that causes the problem.

His diet is on par , so that is not an issue.
A bit disconcerting as I was really hoping to show him.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.
