hi can anyone tell me if there staffy has and problem with what i would call a dead leg my staffy is fine running and walking once he gets going it sounds like he is old but he is only 6 months old and after he has been laid down for a while he gets up and limps about but fine again after 5 mins or so but does not seem to have any pain in the leg as i have rubbed it and got no reply from him as its causing him any pain

How much exercise actually makes him limp? Is it everything, or just long runs etc?

At his age he shouldn't really be limping after exercise unless it's too much for him.

billy is like that, after sleeping in his bed for a while he is like an old man when he gets up, he has a good stretch and that seems to cure it. he likes to sleep with his legs curled up , so i alway make then straight it seems to help a bit. i wonder like you if there is anything wrong

Most dogs will be a bit stiff when they have just woken up after a good sleep, but they shouldn't limp. A couple of stretches should sort out any stiffness.

You may wish to ask the vet about a circulation problem.
My Cassie has a bad circulation problem her limbs/gums are always cold no matter what i do.
and her legs can go stiff until the blood gets pumps through it properly which takes a little longer than with her other legs.
Or he may have a trapped nerve which can be pinched and cause a little discomfort until it becomes unpinched.
