Is your dog optimistic or pessimistic study
found this on news.com.au watch the vid.

Interesting study I think most Staffys would fall in the optimistic category however I have noticed Harrie sits and watches other dogs from a distance before she approaches so she may be a little pessimistic.
Cheers

Your dog watching other dogs behaviour is not necessarily a pessimistic thing. Dogs will often watch others and get a good idea of required behaviour from them. Many dogs will learn this way.

Yeh fair call but I really didn't watch a 5 minute vid and put young Harrie on the couch for a brain probing session I just used that point that sitting back and watching the behavior and not running in gun ho could be considered the difference between optimistic and pessimistic.
