New Scottish Stafford rescue

I am a member of a new scottish stafford rescue charity, we are SRS Scotland ( Staffordshire Rescue Scotland) and also registered as Save a staffie rescue, I know one of the members has already posted about us, so I just wanted to come on and properly introduce us.

We are just starting out, our committee members are al experienced within rescue of Staffords, and want the absolute best for our breed.

With that in mind, the aims of our charity are EDUCATION, NEUTERING, TRAINING AND REHOMING.

I am previously registerd on here as an individual so have spoken to some of you but nice to meet you under our new charity status.

We are actively seeking support, fosters volunteers, homecheckers, donations! and just people to get the word out about us. Primarily based in Lanarkshire currently but will rehome to any area within Scotland.

We have strict policy on rehoming and our volunteers will all get support etc. So if you are interested in getting more info or helping out then please do get in touch, I am not sure if I can weblink here so I wont initially, but if someone can let me know if it is ok to out our website up and facebook page that would be great..

we are currently running a photo show donation where if you donate a £1 and send your dogs photo in we will add it to our video which will feature at all our events, on youtube and facebook page too.

We want to show the soft side of staffies that no one shows in the media so it mostly features staffies with babies kids and other dogs and in silly poses !!! no snarling teeth shots to be seen !!!

please spread the word as much as you can we need the publicity to get some donations to help us get running as we already have inundated with dogs needing homes but cant take them on until we have the financial means to do that !!

so for now we are educating and spreading the word !!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum from me and my staffy, Poppy! Keep up the amazing and hard work, all staffords are gorgeous, and unfortunately it's the most common breed in all the rescues. But with people like you, they can all find their loving homes!
