My guard dog?

I took peppa to the park where she plated with gsd and Russian black terrier they played nice while I was talking to the owners the gsd, 4.5 yrs old with bad hip dysplacia was obviously suffering from it and couldn't keep up with them kept coming to me so I stroked him he also try to find something I'm my jacket but peppa was not having it she came between us barking and jumping on me clearly trying to tell me something we all saw it. When he kept coming to me she chased him away and she meant business I've never seen her so angry. The other owner then took him away and tranquility came back the thing is she didn't mind me stroking the black terrier or any other dog . At first I didn't like my dog being possessive about me but from her intensity I know it was something else.

Strange it was just one dog?! They can be funny though, my sisters dog grace (staffy x springer) is a lovely dog in fact she is the reason I decided to get a staffy but she is so jealous of Daisy?! Tries to keep her away from everyone but she's not like it with any of the others! My mum has 3 dogs and my sister has 2 but it's just Daisy!

marley has coverd my back once, mostley he will greet anyone and everyone as a freind but this time i was was braking up a fight, i dont usually bother but someone getting a kicking on the floor i couldnt walk by. people appoached me from behind and he went ape shite at them which did the trick. less than ten mins later he was rolling on his back with a police special rubbing his tum.
