Re: kongs
We've used a puree in a blender. Basically veggies with a bit of meat in it as well. Place it in the Kong and freeze it. It does make a bit of a mess when it starts to melt but it keeps her occupied.

Re: kongs
I use nature diet, as that's what I feed anyway. The trays are quite useful at they're not too sloppy so don't fall out and take a little while to get through

Re: kongs
We used to mix cream cheese or natural yoghurt. Now we measure out some of her kibble, run the tap through it and freeze it.

Re: kongs
Which kong did you get? Did you notice that they are toughness graded by colour? We have a pink puppy one, 2 small red adult and a large red adult. The black ones are super tough and we had to use these with our old male.

Re: kongs
We use peanut butter or cheese to plug it up and fill with mashed banana or natural, fat free yoghurt

Re: kongs
Daisy's favourite is banana and peanut butter mashed up together and then frozen so it lasts longer

Re: kongs
You can put virtually anything in the Kong, Rocky has some of his kibble and peanut butter then we freeze it. May be an idea to plug the small end before you fill though then plug the larger end with some peanut butter or somthing similar this will stop the contents spilling out in the freezer, we stand it in a mug to fill then place the Kong in the mug in the freezer.
