Kennels / Upset

On Saturday I am dropping Koda to kennels (highly recommended by a very close friend who I trust with my life!), for a whole 25 days, as I am going overseas to get married/honeymoon. I am beside myself. I can't imagine nearly a month without Koda by my side. I am SO worried he won't be ok (fretting) although I KNOW he will be and will either A) hate me when I pick him up at the end of next month or B) be SUPER happy to see me. I booked this months ago and can't believe the time has finally come. I'm so upset already at the mere thought of parting with him for such a long time how on earth am I going to cope on Saturday and then the next 25 days !!!

Don't worry Bek, he will be ok. We had to leave Marquez in boarding back in Indonesia for 16 days and then he had to go through a long haul journey to Spain which included an unexpected short stay in a dog hotel in Amsterdam but he was perfectly ok and happy to see us after all that. Koda will be just fine and be happy to see you once you get back.

I'm sure he will be fine once he is back with you, why did you book a wedding/honeymoon abroad if you knew you would be so worried ?

Thx everyone. Dropped him off today, I was bawling, my fiancé laughing & Koda running sideways excitedly with his carer. Didnt even look back at us once little bugger!!!
