on yer bike!
well me anyway...
going competative with the dogs at bikejoring, have them trained and fit just some distance work left to do which i dont think we will have a problem with.
the only weak link is now me... have lost over a stone and can do about 10 miles endurance running and walking with them but... i nearly die on a bike, yes they pull me alot of the time but i need to input sometimes.
anyone have any quick training session tips for short burst off road training?
i have my first race on the 27th of sept http://www.checkendonchallenge.co.uk/ mainly flat and only 3.5 mile but quite technical, should be fun but i need to get myself fit on a bike as its a different set of muscles to walking and running.. all advise greatly welcome . plus it will be a first staffy cross to enter so doing it for the breed

Give up! Best way to do it - coming from a fellow smoker cutting down doesn't work - but your appetite grows so watch that also.

Re: on yer bike!
Interval training is excellent. One minute at a comfortable pace and one minute at a sprint. Keep reapiting and go a little longer each time
