The woman that owns my house has been coming around when I'm not home!!! I feel completely and utterly....well I dunno how, I'm so angry and upset

it's illegal for her to do this. did you not have problems with her changing her mind about letting you have a dog in the property a couple of months ago?

Is what she doing legal even though she owns the house? Definitely an invasion on privacy if she's been going inside.

No it's illegal, thing is out credit isn't brilliant, and I just am just so worried, the thing is I got a complaint saying the grass hadnt been mown, so I went around tonight and apologised to the neighbours, they didn't know anything about it....so that means my letting agent knows she's been coming over, and lied to me about it.

i own 12 rental properties and each contract is individually tailored to the tennant but the one constant is my legal obligation to give a minimum 24hrs notice of entry but then it's only if the tennant agrees and only whilst they are present. she should know this so my guess is she wants you out. how did the dog situation pan out?

The thing is we've not done anything, the reason the grass hasnt been mown is because she's not given us the power cable for it......nothing more was said about the dog situation and loki is all settled at night now and he never barks and has done absolutely no damage to the property!!!

go and get legal advice but i have to warn you that your best option is to look for a new place as unless you can afford a civil case then the courts rarely come down on the side of the tennant as it is so easy for a landlord to manipulate a reason for the intrusion.

I am looking for another place, as soon as I've saved up the money and we find out that allows loki. That's it I'm moving, it's a shame I love this place, but I am now constantly worried she's gonna be coming over.

Ahh dazoldo fancy buying a property in Devon Ahaha that's a good idea actually. Cnt u go to ur local council and tell them ur landlords being a nightmare and get put on a council/housing association waiting list . I would seek advice as above. Whether she owns the property or not shes breaking the law .

Ah hun, as said above you need to seek advice about where you stand and take your tenancy agreement with you, Hope it's not too long before you save for a deposit and move on from that landlord, she sounds a nightmare
