Raw food diet?

Hiya thinking of starting my staff on raw shes 10 month.How often and how much can you feed them?

We started to give Zeus raw food from 5month old and giving him 3 times a day. (I believe most of people do twice a day) Most of raw food guidance says 2-3% of body weight. We actually under fed him when he was puppy (up to around 10 month recommend to fed your dog twice as much as adult dog because still growing) and we are giving him 500g to 750g now. Zeus is around 19kg at the moment so we should be giving him around 500g but since he is pretty slim and do lots of run therefore we decided to give him more for now to see how much he is going to grow.

We are happy that we changed to raw food because his fur is soft and lovely and poo is solid less smelly. Good luck and I am sure you and your Staffy enjoy raw food!

I feed Darcy twice a day, but some do only feed once per day

Ah right well shes just turned 10 month and around 15-15.5kg but shes a quarter mastiff to.

The rule of thumb is 2-3% of their weight, so between 300g/450g I don't weigh darcys food just go off how she looks, at 10 months you can still feed her twice a day

May sound daft question is that per meal or split over two?

I bought 5Kg of Natural Instinct and Bosie won't even look at it. I'm just glad I only bought the minimum. He's eaten literally everything that's put in front of him before - and lots of things that weren't - so I guess he just doesn't like raw. Bizarre, because his appetite is monstrous.

So it's back to Lily's Kitchen tinned which is very good but also very expensive, given the amount he eats. I've set up a bulk scheduled delivery with Amazon which discounts the price by 15%.
