Training within the family.. Empty Training within the family..

Interested to know how all of your members of the family get on with training your dogs? Do you agree with methods and are you all consistent.. or do some make it a little more difficult for others?

My partner consistently "forgets" to take Bug's training treats with him on walks, meaning she isn't carrying out her distraction/focus training when seeing dogs or men. He also lets her pull on the lead. Resulting in a very stressful walk for me today due to two days of him walking her and her not having her training. Arghhhh!

There's only me at home so that's ok but Daisy spends a lot of time at my mum and dads and they are a nightmare!

I feel the OH is a little over the top sometimes...raises his voice a lot and is a typical guy in that he feels the need to be boisterous and crazy with Bane (which I'm sure Bane loves the wrestles and hand games) I just don't enjoy getting nibbled on half way through stroking him because he thinks I am playing like the OH does -.-
He has done well at training him though. I think he quite enjoys teaching him tricks and stuff!

Oh is not too bad but he lets Alfie pull a bit more and he is always worse the next time I take him out.

I live with my elderly Father (82) and he loves Barney to pieces and vice versa. However, entire conversations can be forgotten within minutes! He loves walking Barney as it is good exercise after my Dad's Heart op. But it is SOOO Frustrating. No command is ever the same twice. I feel like I have to train and retrain them both constantly Aaaaarrrrrgh.

It's only me and hubby at home so training for Rocky is fairly consistant. When we have visitors it all goes out the window though because no one will listen to us when we tell them what to do around Rocky. Luckily he is quite good though now and I'm sure would tell others what to do if he could.

We're both consistent but it was a long road getting there since we're both so stubborn and know better (I'm always right, of course  Rolling Eyes Laughing ) Now there is complete consistency and only the OH's dad doesn't listen when he comes round -everyone else is good.
