Doggy banana cake
Made this for Daisy today, found the recipe online but the measurements were in cups so it was a bit of guess work as to amounts and I adapted it to be glutton free as grains make Daisy's eyes run! Not sure how it's supposed to look but Daisy loves it and is currently sat on her own in the kitchen looking at it so I would say it's a success! Will make it again for her gotcha day next month and decorate it spoilt spoilt puppy!
Ingredients
16 fl oz water
1 banana mashed
1 banana diced
15 oz rice flour
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons honey
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together the mashed banana, egg, honey, vanilla and water.
In another bowl mix together the flour and baking powder.
Then combine the two, mix well and stir in the diced banana.
Pour into a baking tin ( I used an 8inch loose bottomed tin)
Bake in the over at 175 degrees for an hour.
This is what it looked like
The frostings suggested online were
12oz fat free cream cheese
Either 3 teaspoons carob powder or 1 teaspoon beet powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Though I may just used peanut butter and doggy chocolate drops!

Wow that looks great Saz.
With cup measurements it's more about ratios than weight but as a rule of thumb a cup measurement is 250ml or 250 grams.

That looks awesome! Will definitely have to try this for Marquez.... once he gets down to an acceptable weight Got a feeling my boy is going to be arriving a little heavier than he was 2 weeks ago since I've just been informed that the boarding kennel has just about run out of his food and have been feeding him 2 days worth of food in 1 day!!!! He would've loved it though getting all that extra food

Re: Doggy banana cake
Make this again yesterday and realised I'd put the wrong amount of water when I started mixing it together! Should be 16floz, apologies if anyone had tried to make it! Xx

Re: Doggy banana cake
Ooooh this looks good! How about mixing the cream cheese with some baby food for the frosting? I did that for some Birthday cupcakes for Bane and he was going nuts!
