A different kind of rescue..

So we had to rescue 3yr old daughter this afternoon from our wooden seats! She had asked if she could pick some blueberries and I said yes. They are near the seating and she decided to kneel on it, facing the back to get some hard to reach ones. Somehow her knee slipped and wedged between the seat and back. Most of her leg was through and squashed at the top by her ankle and upper thigh! We couldn't get her out so hubby had to get a screwdriver and take the wooden slat off. Meanwhile she is now whimpering " Help me Mummy, it really hurts!" Bless her, all I could do then was support the rest of her body so it wasn't putting more weight on the stuck leg. Finally got her free she's such a brave little thing, no damage but will be bruised tomorrow! She is so accident prone lol.
