Lumps on Blue
Hi all
Hope everyone is well.
Quick question.
Woke up this morning and Blue has lumps on his fur. He seems fine, it's not bothering him. Was wondering is it some sort of allergy thing? Should I go and get some piriton and give him some of that and if so how much?
Hope everyone is well.

Re: Lumps on Blue
Just give him half a tablet in some cheese.
Just wait now and see if it goes down. Like I said he seems fine within himself just looks like me after a 3 day bender

Aw bless him, I'd think the same as you, an allergic reaction to something. Hope the lumps go away soon.

Got a day off back to work tomorrow
So promised the daughter I'd take her swimming.
It's gone down allot, if he still has any when I get back I'll probably give him a bath, due one anyway
Fingers crossed that sorts it.

Re: Lumps on Blue
It look like either insect bites (ants, maybe?) or nettle rash (or reaction to something similar). If it hasn't gone down by this evening, give him another half piriton and wait over night. Make sure you change his bedding in case there's anything in that reacting with his skin. Have you changed washing powder etc recently?

Re: Lumps on Blue
It's gone back to normal only a few tiny bumps nows.
I think it may be something to do with him and his partner in crime fizz (My white cat)
I let Blue out last night to get busy before going to sleep, when I went to get him back in he was at one side of a rock and the cat was at the other side. Then I heard a mouse squelling and Blue chased it then bounched about like a cat lol.

Re: Lumps on Blue
Took me daughter swimming come back and had stingy eyes. Thought I would have a power nap. In return for taking her. My daughter decided to take a pic of me sleeping and put it on face book.

Re: Lumps on Blue
definitely an allergic reaction - thats exactly how poor woody looked a few weeks back, he had piriton and a steroid injection to make them go down fast. they dont learn though-think he must have been leaping into nettles on todays' walk as he now has little white lumps all on his belly!

Re: Lumps on Blue
It's completly gone now. Only give him half a tablet and a wipe down incase it was something on his fur that was causing the reaction.
Them tablets are magic. Every pet owner should have a box, can't believe how quickly he has gone back to normal and as the kids tell me all the time, Normal is not a word we use lightly in this house.....whatever that means
